    1.0.0RC7 Changelog

    ================

... ... Added gname to Report Game tags ... ...

We just recently upgraded RC6 to RC8, and there's still no GName showing up even on our latest Game Reports.

I think there's some setting for this in ACP, but I get very easily hopelessly lost in there! Can you give me a pointer ?

Am I right to assume that, like clearing your browser cache, taking this option should never "harm" anything - while hopefully MAYBE "fixing" some problems ?

  3. A report has been filed for Spite and Malice Extreme, please ensure that you provide as much data as possible to help us in resolving the issue for which you are reporting this game.

    Issue Reported:

(File Size: 3.81 MB  -  Install Date: 11/02/2019 03:11 AM)

    Has Old Submit code.

Gee, I wish there was an easier way of identifying the games with this problem. As it is someone plays it on DA and gets the error, reports it so I play it just to confirm. Then I delete it, go get fresh copy from here, install and play it. IF there's no error then we keep it - but if still error I report it here.

    Another "old Submit Code" ?
I downloaded/reinstalled it today, then tried in FF with cache cleared.

The page you requested does not exist

I will have to let tube look into this one, but I do have a few questions

    1. Does this happen on all games that you attempt to install via the web interface
    2. Have you tried installing the same game by uploading via FTP

    1. No, I've installed dozens - never seen any problem like this before.

    2. Eureka - why didn't *I* think of that? 😉 FTPed then Manual Install - flawless, now working just dandy! Thanx LG. :)

  6. A report has been filed for Jewels of Arabia Levelpack, please ensure that you provide as much data as possible to help us in resolving the issue for which you are reporting this game.

    Issue Reported:

I downloaded this game, which all seemed normal, and showed on my PC as:

    game_JOAlp_Origon.tar  -  36.3 MB (38,121,472 bytes)  -  ‎2020-‎1-‎21, ‏‎14:29:36

I then used ACP Tar Installer, but it led to:

    Operator Date/Time Message
Eagle_Kiwi Just now game_JOAlp_Origon_tar.c320cd4a0340c3ff047595f337d2bb3a uploaded via web interface.

and the game did NOT appear in my list of Games Ready for Install (despite my clicking the "cache" message).

I've repeated this whole process a number of times, always same non-result. Can anyone explain why/where all that code AFTER the ".tar" comes from ?

  7. I see that these Candy games were all installed on DA on 18 Aug 2019, then ALL had 4 various players set scores in the 2 weeks following that. No need for them to have reported problems because back then there weren't any. But NOW it seems that all these games have developed the problem. What's changed ?

Anyway, today I deleted our 8 Pyramids then downloaded afresh direct from here.

Installed on DA - cleared my FF cache - played - Submitted - PAGE DOES NOT EXIST ETC ETC .  😞 😞  Yet you say they've all been corrected!? Are we dealing with 2 separate problems perhaps ?

(Would it be feasable to move our arcade folder into the root directory, as most sites seem to have, thus completely swee[ping this problem away?!? Or might that cause unwanted side effects? lol)

{{LATER}} I've found that using Opera I CAN set a score for 8 Pyramids... and ditto using FF on a separate PC. So - now exploring exactly why MY FF may have a problem . . . .

    Another old Submit code?  :(

This is now all 3 out of 3 "3D Mahjong Candy ..." ones I happen to have checked here - so I guess it's a fair bet that most/all of the other 17 you have will contain the same problem.  :(

Actually it would seem that this became a problem for us only since December 2019 when we switched to IPS4.4.1/ipsProArcade - prior to that we had these games, but virtually no problems reported back then. Was there something in the older programs that accepted this "old submit code", but the newer software doesn't?

Another one with old Submit Code.   :(

(I wonder how many OTHER "3D Mahjong Candy ..." games have the same problem ?)

I think this game has the old Submit Code.

Can you check it please ?

{{LATER}}:-  Oh dear, THIS one too.

I wish there was some easier way to find these.

The Archive retrieval and reports has not been fully implemented yet, but the data is there for it if you choose that option.  ...

    May I ask - where??

We've just run our quarterly Reset, via the Scheduled Reset function, and it seemed to work just fine. But how do I now find the "Archive", in whatever form ?
