After installing Beta6 I got this error

[[Template arcade/front/gamelist/gamelistNew is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]

 

How do I correct this.

I just upgraded to 4.5.3 about little more than a hour ago.. Then I seen the notice for the aracde upgrade, so I installed the upgrade and got the error message.

What notification enabled?

 

I have 4 skins giving me errors.

 

1. Default skin

2. Red Pro.

3. Twilight

4. Vilality

I contacted support to get the default skin reinstalled.

Challenge

ACP, challenge when I want to end the challenge (End Challenge.) I get the following message.

Sorry, you do not have permission for this !

2S119 / 1 the CSRF protection Key does not match. This may indicate that a plugin or theme is not up to date. Please contact technical support for more information.

 

When I remove the challenge it's all good.

Ron I was just on your site and I do not see any of these errors on any of the themes you have, so I have turned back on Red Pro, Twilight and Vitality

@wullf you do not have to use the New style, the old one is there, you can switch between the two

OK, if that is your only reason, that is fine.  It was placed where it is so that when someone is on a hand held device, such as a phone, they would (challenges) be lined up instead of all over the page.  No problem though, if you want to stay on Beta4.  We now have to become more compliant with responsive web pages and it is a work in progress

When you encounter this error, 9 times out of 10 it is because there is a template that has been modified previously and it needs to be reverted to make the error go away.  Normally this is caused when there has been a recent change to the arcade template files for a new release, such as was the case here.  With older themes this will always be a problem especially if they have not been upgraded to incorporate the new template changes done by IPS in the host files, if they change the coding to something new and you do not incorporate those changes into your themes then you will encounter errors.  This happens quite a bit on Sherri's themes as she tends not to stay up-to-date on her themes.

 

@Ronald I have made the necessary changes to those Sherri themes you have on your site, the arcade looks and is working correctly now, but the older those themes get the harder it will be to keep up with the ever changing code from IPS and at some point they will just not work any longer unless she updates them to the current theme template changes that have been done by IPS
