Can anyone supply me with some information on ? I want to stop using Image Hosting services, free and paid.

 

Now can I store my images like Affiliate Banners in a folder called, example: banners, in the images. Then hotlink them back to the forum.

 

Has anyone ever done this. I have been doing this on a SMF forum I have, and it is working out good.

I need to setup a folder called banners first don't I?

Here is what I did. Cpanel open public_html located images, added a folder called banners, uploaded my banner images to banners.

Came back to forum, opened Affiliates to edit put this link code in: <img src="https://ronaldsarcade.com/images/banners/trian.gif"/></a> In fact tried different codes. Nothing works.

This code is not ok - should be without </a>

That is because you do not have an "images" folder, you have a "site_images" folder, you can simply rename that to images and it should all start working
