I downloaded the new update for the arcade and 2.2.2 chatbox. I was uploading the .tar file for chatbox and now I have this error.

How do I fix this?

Would it be either the Christmas Noel or the White Christmas or even both that you are seeing this on?

it's not the arcade it's the chatbox, revert back to the last chatbox update.

The seasonal skins are disabled, but I do get this error on all the others skins.

 

How do I revert back to the last chatbox

Just go to upload new version but install the last working version you have for the time being, that's what I had to do, but luckily I have a test site and that was ok so I downloaded the working template and installed it on my working site. Probably TS or LG would give better advice.

I tried uploading Chatbox 2.1.6 overtop of the chat, would not take. So I removed the Chatbox, cleared the cache and reinstalled version 2.1.6.

I have it in place now but when I go to add a message, nothing happens. Checked all the permissions and there ok.

 

I still have the problem when I click Home, takes me to my profile. The default skin needs to be made Default, and I don't know how to do this.

I had this problem LG and Bim kept saying it was because the theme/skin authors were using old templates which is a load of rubbish because my test site was ok.

Sorry it reads wrong it should read "I had this problem LG, and Bim kept saying etc" I missed the comma out of the text

I have just suffered a massive database failure and the hosts who were paid to do a full backup etc failed to do so and only did a partial backup which proved to be worthless.

I am in the process of installing everything again, however when I installed the skins and chatbox 2.2.2 I had no problems at all. It was only after various updates etc on the old installations that I had any problems at all with the skins and chatbox+

 

On another note I see that https://www.ibtheme.com/ is down.

Sorry to hear this Logan. Tubesock did a cron job for me, I have a backup done daily for seven days then it reverts back to day one over again.

 

Sherry has had problems for a long time, I thought she had this all done and was taking charge again. Pete has been running the forum. Dam I wish she'd pick her big lady panties up and straighten her act up, because she does excellent work, I love her theme skins.

I use easycron for my cron tasks, only because I'm lazy lol. Agreed sherri does do some great skins but her reliability is not so great and Pete can only do so much on top of his own work. Anyway I have just realised this should be in another forum.

 

@Logan let us know when you are back up and running

I'm just getting the main installations completed first Legionaire, member groups, arcade and Chatbox, in the process of uploading the games now. Luckily I had downloaded all the tars into category folders so they won't need sorting out again. I did manage to salvage some of the mysql tables before I tried a restore (whiched messed things up even more lol) . I'll  certainly be going back to doing the backups myself.
