Why do you have to wait an hour to reclaim a score back, it seems pointless and here is an example: I have played a game and scored a low score when I know that I can beat the score I set but have to wait an hour to do it. 

In the past we have had players who would simply follow others around and take scores immediately.  To alleviate this, we have implemented the one hour rule, and if you take more than five scores from  the same person in a 5 hour period, you will be warned and or possibly even banned from the arcade for a specific amount of time.  This is all in an effort to keep people from being targeted by others
