Cheating at games

Featured Replies

Is there anyway some type of coding that can be installed into the arcade, that if a person is cheating at a game, and when they save the score, tha arcade picks ups on the cheater and reminds them they were cheating on this game, and the arcade keeps a record of this.

I have cheaters on my arcade forum, example, how can you play a 90 second game for 4 minutes or longer.

I think it would be extremely difficult for any code to determine whether a person is cheating or not, some may be true cheating attempts and then others may get flagged when there was NO cheating attempt at all.  The real problem is not so much cheating but what will the game allow you to do.  Example, some games will allow you to accumulate scores meaning, you play the game and submit your score and the next time you play the game it picks up where you left off prior to and keeps adding to that score, is that cheating ? no, that is something the game was coded to do.

I notice some of the games that keep your score and continue adding. I was asking because there is a code installed in one arcade, not sure which arcade program it is..

But I do understand what you are saying.. Maybe in time something will come up.

Thanks
