Got this error as follows.  Uploaded game from Tar Installer, after it loaded, clicked the game to test for play before actual install to a category (this is a V32 game (game did install when I tried it and plays fine)and this window pops up 

Something went wrong. Please try again. Error code: EX0
 

This error was probably caused by application ipsProArcade.
If the issue persists, disable it and contact the author for further assistance.

Ok, I'll need to look at the "pregame" function later today.

For me, the Tar installer looks like this ...

 

you probably have a corrupt or malformed config (gname.php) file in your tar directory, use your ftp program and delete them from /arcade/tar/.

 

I will probably stop the installer from automatically trying to cache the files for reasons like this.

The directory / arcade / tar / are only the 3 folders in it, nothing more

My bad, I meant the ones inside... like /arcade/tar/tmp and /arcade/tar/install.

Are the files in the tmp folder no longer needed?

If you are getting that screen that you posted above, then one of those files is corrupt, so you could delete them one by one or all of them at a time... not sure how many you are dealing with.

 

I renamed the tmp folder and created a new tmp folder.
Now it's working.
Question was actually related to whether it affects the installed games?

 

We have over 3000 Games in the Arcade

No, it doesn't affect any of the installed games.. only the games that are going to be or are being installed.
