how can the notifications be deleted .. they are building up ..or will they be removed after reset thanku 

They are removed after 30 days, bet you have quite a few.  It's something that is managed by the Forum software, I'll look into removing Arcade notifications on a per user basis.

 

yes that is an understatement .. holding them for 30 days is too long .

I agree, but I do get a lot of notifications (not game related)  and the length they stay doesn't bother me... it seems needless, but in the end I think the notifications are handy.

 

They can always be turned off.. maybe in a future version of the Forum software they will make it user dependent... or a future version of the arcade I'll implement clearing them off.

Personally I liked to use notifs to provide a record of games where my top score had been beaten, then periodically I'd go thru these and try to win them back. So as I process thru each I would delete that notif. Sometimes it would get to include maybe 100 covering 2 months, or in extreme cases close to the maximum, 3 months!

So yeah, I sure hope we might get a selective delete someday soon.

I use the Clear Notifications by @Pete T plugin as well.  It's a greatp lugin.  

 

It's highly recommended that you download resources from the IPS Marketplace instead of private share, since that ensures you get the latest version that's been audited by IPS.

I cleared all my notifs on DA 17 days ago, and since then I've had 23 for PMs (but I plan to stop those coming) and 72 for HOF scores beaten. As I go through checking these it's quite annoying to keep having to remember where I was up to.

 

There is a "Notification" manager in "User Settings".

Oh, hallelujah! I'm overjoyed to have control of my notifs back again!

Dunno how it sneaked in there while I wasn't looking, but real glad I re-asked the question.
