I am pleased to announce NuclearGeneral to the Admin team. NG will be taking over the coding side of the arcade and has carte blanche to make the arcade a stronger and more pleasant experience. I will let NG provide you any information pertaining to himself that he may feel significant. With that being said, I am laying down some rules for the rebuild of the arcade to todays current PHP standards

  • As it will take sometime for NG to get the framework into a more well organized and comfortable platform, I ask that you do not PM or ask for additional functionality until NG has come to a junction where he feels comfortable enough to allow for that type of interaction.

  • As we move along, I will provide updates when major mile marks have been accomplished

  • DO NOT ask to become a tester until we have come to what would be a comfortable BETA version

  • There may or may not be an upgrade fee for the new version, to be determined by NG, current VIP members of course would be offered a decent discount (should it come to that)

  • All questions will be answered to the best answer we can give, barring what has been laid out above

So please welcome NuclearGeneral to the team and prepare for the next generation of ipsproarcade

Hello NG and welcome to the Admin. side of the board.

Happy coding of the arcade. Looking forward to seeing the new IPB and the new Arcade.

Hello everybody!

I just realized this topic was made lmao 🤣

I’ve been a bit busy lately, since I do work a full time job at my local hospital and still dealing with the aftermath of Typhoon Halong in the Lower Kuskokwim region of Alaska. We have about 2,000 displaced people without any shelter. I have also been busy with a few other things in life, and more recently, as of yesterday, I have acquired the Your Forum Services website and all applications have been transferred to me, along with any custom projects Miss_B was working on. I do plan on making the Arcade one of my main priorities on my to-do list. This is my news post I made on my website about acquiring the site. I also posted a topic on the Invision community website to help spread the word to the current customers of the site that I have their back in maintaining their support services.

As for the upgrade price mentioned by @Legionaire, we will cross that bridge here in this topic in the near future and have a discussion about it. For now, I have not yet decided on a price. As for features, I agree with @Legionaire on waiting till the platform has been well structured. But I do encourage it, and if you do have any suggestions, I would like you to please post them in my Marketplace Suggestions tracker located on my site. It allows for Upvote and Downvote of suggestions. Just keep in mind though, your suggestions will not be added in any of the first few versions that are released. They will eventually be added in subsequent versions.

Thank you for having me on the Team and I enjoy hearing your ideas and just chatting about anything in general. ☺️

@bosss Currently I am working on the ICS 5 version of the Arcade. I do not currently have plans for the ICS 4 version of the Arcade as of yet. But that may or may not change in the future. We will have to see. 😉

If anyone wants to stay up to date on the progress of the Arcade, I have a Private Repository set up that only shows the current issues, projects, wiki, and activity pages. All other pages are kept private for @Legionaire and myself.

Man... I almost lost my entire OS last night (11:30pm Alaska time) while working on the arcade. My Windows 11 had a major BSOD that caused it to want to completely reinstall windows when it errored out and restarted into a Windows Installation screen.. as if it were a brand new computer. It had 2 options : 1) Install Windows, 2) Repair your pc. The 2nd option did not do anything, couldn't check for restore points, couldn't see the drive, couldn't uninstall latest feature or security fixes. Not even command prompt would do anything.

I totally thought I lost everything I had been working on.. even my other projects.. it took me 2 hours to figure out what the issue was. I tried everything for awhile, checking the drive, checking if my data was still there, but I couldn't access the drive at all, no matter what I tried. Then I finally decided to open up the computer and move my NVME drive to a different slot, and boom, it started up without an issue. I'm guessing that that particular NVME slot went bad. I have no clue, and I am no about to test it with another drive lol because of that, I decided make an entire disk drive backup and a folder backup of my XAMPP development workspaces. I've been putting a lot of time in to correcting issues, that I do not want to do it over again. So I am glad that my data is safe and nothing happened to it.

Just wanted to give an update on the progress of the application, if anyone has been checking my Gitea repo issues tracker.
